Walk from Kilmore to Mullavilly
On New Year’s Day 2010 parishioners walked from Kilmore Church to Mullavilly. This recalled the journeys made each week by our forebears, who, in the days before Mullavilly Church was built had to travel all the way to Kilmore to worship.
The distance is about six miles and followed the route most likely to have been taken in the eighteenth century.
