Yesterday, today, forever -

On New Year’s Day 2010 there was a walk from Kilmore Church to Mullavilly. This recalled the journeys made each week by our forebears, who, in the days before Mullavilly Church was built had to travel all the way to Kilmore to worship.
The distance is about six miles and will follow the route most likely to have been taken in the eighteenth century.
The congregations from the 09:30 and 11:30 services came together for breakfast. A very big breakfast.
On a hot summer’s day the Rector opened his garden for lunch.

We lit beacons to mark the beginning and end of this special year.
